These guidelines explain how the Rhyno Herd will remain quieter, safer, more useful, and more human than ordinary social media. They are written in plain language and remain a reviewed draft until real community participation activates.
Purpose of the Herd
The Herd exists for belonging, encouragement, gratitude, learning, accountability, service, story preservation, and meaningful contribution—not attention, popularity, or endless engagement.
Expected conduct
Lead with gratitude. Create more value than noise. Respect every journey. Protect trust. Practice Consistegrity. Celebrate without comparison. Leave people better.
Privacy expectations
Share only what is yours to share and obtain permission before posting another person’s story, image, private information, or identifying details. Member profiles and activity remain private by default.
Safety boundaries
Harassment, hate, threats, bullying, exploitation, doxxing, fraud, impersonation, sexual exploitation, and abuse involving minors are prohibited. Emergency situations require appropriate local emergency services.
Posting standards
Choose a purpose-based post type, use an appropriate community space, provide helpful context, cite sources when claims matter, label personal opinion and lived experience, and use descriptive image alt text.
Commercial activity
Designated small-business spotlights, creator releases, useful resources, mission-aligned offers, approved collaborations, and community-support campaigns may be permitted with labels.
Commercial activity not allowed
No repetitive promotion, unsolicited sales messages, recruitment schemes, MLM solicitation, unverified investments or fundraising, predatory financing or coaching, spam links, false scarcity, or manipulation.
Intellectual property
Share only content you have the right to post. Credit collaborators. Members may label original and collaborative work. Mission Rhyno does not claim ownership of member-created content.
AI-use disclosure
Use Human-created, AI-assisted, AI-generated, or Edited with AI labels. Disclosure is required when AI materially created the content. Responsible AI use is welcome; transparency protects trust.
Professional-advice boundaries
Community content is not a substitute for medical or mental-health care, legal or financial advice, emergency services, or professional regulatory judgment. Personal experience must not be presented as professional direction.
Source quality
For health, AI, public health, legal, financial, or professional claims, cite authoritative sources when possible, distinguish opinion from verified information, and expect moderators to add context or flag questionable claims.
Reporting
Members may report harassment, discrimination, threats, spam, fraud, solicitation, misinformation, unsafe advice, privacy violations, inappropriate content, impersonation, intellectual-property concerns, or another issue. Reporter identities are not shown to the reported member.
Moderation process
Authorized hosts, moderators, and administrators may hide or remove content, lock a discussion, mute or suspend participation, block accounts, add context, and document actions. Mission Rhyno does not promise real-time monitoring.
Appeals and consequences
Members may appeal moderation decisions. Responses may include guidance, content limits, temporary suspension, or account removal based on severity, pattern, safety risk, and documented review.
Child and family safety
Child participation is not active. Future family experiences require age-appropriate design, parental consent, invitation-only privacy, and specific safety systems before activation.
